Another conference presentation has just been added to our growing list of project deliverables – authored and presented by Vladan Pavlović, PhD, at the BICLCE 2022 conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia, his presentation explored the nature of the ADJ to V constructions in American and Canadian English. Central to his analysis is the notion of the “blockage” image schema, which is used to inform a corpus-based investigation of culturally-contextualized language use. The full paper is expected to be published in 2023.
